- In a saucepan of boiling water, add the chicken breast and cover. Simmer over low heat for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring as much as possible. (Sure, I used raw chicken breast for this recipe, but if you want to speed things up a bit, use store-bought chicken cutlets!)
